What is the Shamrock Auction?

The Shamrock Auction is an annual dinner dance evening that has become the largest fundraiser for St. Patrick's School.  The event will take place at the Putnam County Golf Club in Mahopac, NY.  It is a fun-filled night with many opportunities for people to have dinner, dancing and opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items.  Gifts are donated from the community, businesses and so many families of St. Patrick's School.

Why is the Shamrock Auction important to St. Patrick's School?

The Shamrock Auction has raised over $380,000 in the past eight years.  Funds raised at this event have directly benefited the children in a variety of ways.... the St. Patrick's School Parent Association has updated the sound system in the gymnasium, renovated the gym - new curtains for the windows and stage, refinished the gym floor, painted, and replaced padding along the walls and stage, contributed towards the new Multi-purpose room in the Family Education Center, contributed towards many activities and programs for the students - including the Spanish & Art Programs, helped to fund library improvements and bring technology to each classroom.  In 2016, we were successful in meeting our "Wish List" goal of a new iPad Cart along with 20 iPads for the elementary grades!  In 2017, our "Wish List" was to update and upgrade our SCIENCE LAB and create a STEAM/STEM program.  We are proud to say that along with a grant we opened our new STEAM LAB in September 2017!
